How do I send assignments to my students?

Leverage the Publior App LMS system. Send assignments.

1. Connect with students.
2. Assign students and books to your courses.

Ways to connect with a student

A. Give your student the username you use in the Publior App. Find your username in Settings > my profile : username.
Students who already own free accounts and bought the same book as you, will send you a link request through their book, which you must accept.

B. Give your student your school key in the Publior App. Find the school key number in Settings > My Account : Key number.
Students who already own free accounts will send you a connection request, which you must accept.

C. If you have a PremiumT or PremiumIn account, you can create student accounts. Find Account Management in Settings > My Account : create user accounts
Give your students the credentials of the accounts you have created for them.
Find administration of seats in Settings > My Account : administrate student seats. Drag and drop from left to right all selected student accounts into the available student seats.

Create classes and courses. Assign students and books

• Tap the Organizational Chart icon in the upper right menu of the main screen. You will already find a basic thread of an educational structure with the name of your Institution, a class and a course (Lesson).
• Right-click on the class, click Manage Students and add students.
• Right-click on the class, click New Lesson and add a lesson.
• Right-click on the lesson, click Manage Books and add books.

You can create as many Levels (Grades), classes and courses (Lessons) you want.

Note: In the PremiumIN account the above procedure is done by the Director of the educational Institution. The Director distributes books in each course, teachers or optionally course Coordinators. The Coordinator can assign books in the courses.

Assignments

• As a teacher you enter the lesson either a) from the lesson login button of each Lesson in the administration or b) from the Lessons shelf of your main screen, by clicking the login icon on the tab of each lesson .
• Click on the students icon on the book you teach in the lesson.
• Select one or all students and click the blue envelope to send an assignment. Write instructions, select exercises and press OK to send. From the same point you also have access to your student statistics.

Note: You can include your own contents (Notebooks) in the courses, if you have a PremiumT or PremiumIN account. In your account settings you can also administrate which student account can accept assignments from your own Notebook(s). This feature is very useful when you have more students connected to your account (eg through purchased books, school key numbers, etc.) than the number of seats you have purchased. The free teacher account includes only one (1) free Notebook and one (1) student seat. Additional restrictions apply to every free account.
